Men and women, ages 19 and over, who are struggling with addiction, mental health issues, and precarious living situations.

Our clients must have a home base in the Abbotsford area.

Typically, we do not take referrals for clients who are already well connected to other services in the area, but we will look at each referral individually before making a decision.

Referrals can be made by phone or email by anyone looking for help.

We accept referrals from social service and community-based agencies looking to connect their clients to additional support services. Self-referrals are also welcome.

CEDAR Outreach services are free of charge. In the event that a client needs to access a service whose fees are not covered by social assistance, we try to find alternative funding, but we are unable to cover costs ourselves.

We're currently accepting donations of non-perishable food items, gently used clothing, unopened toiletries, and monetary donations (cheque or cash).

For summer, we’re looking for summer clothes (with a greater need for men’s apparel), tarps, water bottles, brimmed hats, and sunscreen.

CEDAR is interested in adding additional volunteer opportunities to it's programming. If you have any skill sets that you would like to provide (eg. cooking, sewing, bike repair) please fill out the application here.

We will consider referrals for people in custody providing they were from the Abbotsford area when they were arrested and plan to return to Abbotsford when they are released.

CEDAR is not a detox or treatment service. However, we are happy to assist with referrals to detox and treatment.

CEDAR is not a housing provider, nor do we help clients find market housing. However, we are happy to help access local shelters and applications for low to medium barrier housing programs in the area.

We primarily offer English-language service to clients. However, we have one outreach worker who speaks Farsi and another outreach worker who speaks Punjabi, so if you need service in one of these languages, phone us at 604-835-5225 to find out when you can get service.
